Beth Dooley presents Cooking Matters (Gardening Does, Too!)
Beth Dooley, James Beard winning author of thirteen cookbooks, will be share her insights into the regenerative food movement with stories of her work with Native chefs, such as Sean Sherman, The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen, researchers, farmers, and producers. She will present a context for understanding how thoughtfully grown, gathered and prepared ingredients are the key to health and sustainability.
About our speaker
Beth Dooley, a James Beard award-winning food writer, author and co-author, of fifteen cookbooks, is a columnist for the Taste Section of the Star Tribune and Minnesota Public Radio’s Appetites. She is holds an Endowed Chair, Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture, University of Minnesota (MISA) and serves on the boards of Northland College, Ashland, WI and The Good Acre, St. Paul.
