Interested in showing in the Olmsted County 4-H Dog Show or being involved in the 4-H dog project? If so, join us for 4-H dog project practices.
The 4-H'er who owns a dog usually begins with a 4-H obedience training class/practice offered at the county level. This first class/practice can be the stepping stone to a much greater experience.
Practices are held during the spring and summer months in the areas of:
- Rally
- Obedience
- Showmanship
- Agility (must have a Blue Ribbon in obedience to participate in agility)
Once you have participated in the practices, you will be eligible to exhibit in the Olmsted County 4-H Dog Show and have the opportunity to participate in the state 4-H dog show in the above categories.
